For 8 months, my 15 year old daughter and I will travel around the world to 10 countries on 4 continents : United States, Australia, Malaysia, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Japan and South Africa. Our target is to understand how people take care of each other within the family circle or their society.
« How are you ? » is one of the first questions you ask someone you meet. So, we’ll ask people we encounter 10 questions about health in order to know more about social care all around the world, at a crow flies.
Portraits, photographs and the answers of people interviewed will be shared on our website https://hirondelles-voyageuses.com/ and proposed as part of the film festival PASTILLE (Healthcare based documentary film festival)
The goal is to educate citizens, mainly the youngest ones, about international solidarity on subjects like the health systems. The way measuring humanity within a society is to see how it takes care of its most fragile citizens, such as disabled peoples, those suffering from a illness and the elderly.
